Crowns
Dental crowns are custom made to look just like your natural teeth. They are cemented into place and cover teeth that have been weakened by injury or decay, restoring functionality and improve appearance.
Crowns can be used for:
- Protecting a decayed or damaged tooth from breaking
- Protecting a weakened tooth that has a large filling or a root canal filling
- Supporting a tooth that has been structurally injured (e.g. cracked or broken)
- Restoring a tooth to its former functionality whilst improving its appearance
- Anchoring dental bridges which replace a missing tooth
- Improving the appearance of a tooth, which is discoloured or has a large filling in place
- Covering a dental implant
Bridges
In case of a missing tooth, dental bridges offer a fixed alternative to dentures. Using adjacent teeth for support, a false tooth can be permanently installed.
Dental bridges look and feel like your natural teeth. They are also very hardwearing and can last for a number of years.
Bridges are supported on either side by your natural teeth, which are fitted with crowns. They act like an ‘anchor’ for the bridge to hold it firmly in place.
We meticulously match the colour of the porcelain to your existing teeth to give a natural-looking smile.
